EPIXC takes part in Venture Cafe Phoenix

EPIXC recently presented at the Venture Cafe Phoenix on Oct. 26, 2023, at a gathering about reducing our carbon footprint. Venture Cafe is a successful outreach program for local innovators and entrepreneurs.

The topics explored included: 

• The challenges of industrial electrification and its impact on the electrical grid.
• Innovations at Arizona State University in creating test beds to diminish the cement industry’s carbon footprint.
• Highlighting EPIXC and the DOE’s initiatives in fostering collaboration and coordination.
• Showcasing advancements by a local pioneering steel company.
• Workforce development and diversity updates. 

Participants asked great questions, and the discussion was productive and continued after the event.
