The EPIXC EWD roadmap will develop an industry-driven education and workforce development strategic plan for recruiting, hiring and retaining a skilled workforce.

Initially our focus will be on the largest group of workers in EPIXC’s industries — the incumbent and transitioning workers who may need upskilling or reskilling. Next, EPIXC will implement strategies to create a stable and sustainable pipeline of talent focused on attracting new workers through:

  • Apprenticeships.
  • Experiential education (e.g., internships).
  • Industry-recognized certification programs.
  • 2-year, 4-year, and advanced degree programs.
